Business Profile:
Looking for high quality, fun, safe toys in Vancouver, Washington? You've found them at Kazoodles, where kid-powered toys are what we're all about. This locally-owned, independent toy store is chock-full of unique toys, books and games for kids from birth through preschool, grade school, the teen years and beyond. From the educational to the whimsical, the classics to the coolest, you'll find loads to explore at Kazoodles. We're glad to help grandparents find just the right thing for their grandchildren. En route to a birthday party? We gift-wrap! The toys at Kazoodles are carefully chosen for their play value, so you can shop with confidence. After all, which is more fun, playing with a toy or watching a toy play by itself? At Kazoodles, we firmly believe that children should be in charge of their play. We seek out toys, books and games that run on kid power - children's natural energy, imagination, curiosity, creativity and intelligence. Kid-powered toys are an important part of children's development. Kazoodles is the only Clark County outlet for Girl Scout merchandise. We stock uniforms, insignia and handbooks and can special order anything except badges the girls earn. Children's activities are part of the package at Kazoodles. Check our online calendar for weekly story times, sales and promotions, and special activities all year long. As longtime Vancouver residents, we wished we didn't have to drive to Portland to find the quality, unique toys we wanted to give our grandchildren. Thinking other families might be doing the same thing, we decided to fill the gap for a specialty toy store in Vancouver. Kazoodles opened March 1, 2006 downtown. A second store opened in March 2010 at 136th and Mill Plain. That is now the one and only Kazoodles. Every day we are thanked for bringing Kazoodles to Vancouver. But it's the owners and staff at Kazoodles who thank you, our customers, for bringing us the joy of knowing you and your children and for supporting locally-owned, independent business in our community. We joined the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) and within two months of opening Kazoodles, became editors of the organization's national magazine. That has been a tremendous learning experience. Mary now sits on ASTRA's board and is in the thick of important issues involved in bringing you the best, safest developmental toys. Thank you for your support, Bob and Mary Sisson, owners
