Located in Vancouver Washington, we have been providing quality instruction and services since 1991. We truly are a Black Belt School, developing students that are not only physically fit and can defend themselves, but we are also experts in bringing out the best in people. We understand the importance of strong values, self-esteem and social skills. Our students quickly develop confidence, courtesy, self-esteem, pride and the ability to control themselves both physically and mentally. Our staff is the finest trained available. Each instructor has not only been thoroughly trained in his or her respected arts but also in the skill of teaching. They give their best and are dedicated to the progress and growth of their students. Our facility is comprised of two training areas totaling 4500 square feet. Our workout area matting is specially designed for safety and proper support.
We understand that you want to be a careful shopper and research the best school for yourself or family member. We only suggest that since we know your child's instructor will have such a powerful impact on his life you simply give us a chance to show you our program. No, we are not the least expensive school in town. In fact, we may be the most expensive. However, once you see our school and meet our professional team, we are sure you will agree we are also the best.

For centuries, millions of people have benefited from the teachings of Martial Arts, a system of self-defense created in the Orient that does not advocate the use of weapons. Instead, a philosophy that believes in strengthening the mind and body through self-discipline, fitness and awareness. At East West Martial Arts, we teach the fundamentals of the Martial Arts by combining the time tested Eastern philosophy of Martial Arts with the modern approach of Western teaching strategies. We offer a well-balanced program for adults and children.
It's Great for Kids
Martial Arts is good, clean fun for kids...and a great way to give kids a head start in life. At East West Martial Arts, they'll learn the positive benefits of self-discipline and confidence develop coordination and increase strength and flexibility. Because a structure of respect is built into Martial Arts, children develop the ability to listen, learn, and achieve within a highly related environment. This proves to be an excellent tool of study techniques for school as this whole philosophy is reinforced each and every day at East West Martial Arts as the children repeat our Student Pledge.

It's Not All Serious
Just ask the kids. We regularly have social functions, pizza parties, sleepovers and movie nights. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of success and accomplishments, making sure all kids feel great about themselves as they make their journey towards Black Belt. We make learning challenging as well as enjoyable. Not only do our students learn the most, they have the most fun too!

Our instructors are Black Belt Professionals. Their energy, enthusiasm, helpfulness and friendliness are proof that our program works. Parents enrolling children and teens are reassured to know that classes are conducted by instructors who expect best behavior, uphold rule, and provide continuous supervision. They strive daily to be the best they can be and they're dedicated to passing along that special quality of assurance and achievement to every student.
